Abiah George is a summer intern at Kivu Immigration Law PLLC. Abiah was born in Kerala, India. She later moved to the United States when she was 10 years old. Abiah spent her formative years in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She graduated with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies from Northern State University in South Dakota. As an undergraduate student, Abiah interned with United Way of Northeastern South Dakota and served as Student Body President. Abiah heads to law school next fall at Drake University School of Law as a Justice Chester Cole Public Service Scholar. She hopes to practice immigration law in the future. Outside of work, Abiah enjoys being outdoors, playing with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
