Giselle Verdugo Acosta is a summer intern at Kivu Law PLLC. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, she is double majoring in Political Science and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration at Yale University, where she is also pursuing a certificate in Education Studies as a QuestBridge National College Match Scholar. She has three years of experience working in a law firm’s immigration department, where she assisted with Spanish-English translation, handled administrative tasks, and supported client casework. Outside of work and school, Giselle enjoys taking walks, spending time with friends and family, painting, and discovering new chai spots. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
