César R. Cifuentes is a Legal Assistant at Kivu Immigration Law PLLC. César earned his law degree in Guatemala before moving to the United States to work with the Guatemalan Consulate in New York, where he assisted their nationals with a wide range of consular protections matters. César then pursued a Master of Laws (L.L.M) in U.S. Law at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis. Through his professional and academic experiences, he has developed a strong commitment and desire to help individuals and families navigate the immigration and legal system with compassion, respect and advocacy. César is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and playing sports. During the wintertime, he enjoys snowboarding.
