Rony Perussina is a legal assistant at Kivu Immigration Law PLLC. He is originally from Guatemala, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2020. He began his legal career as a public criminal defender in Guatemala, where he gained deep insight into the justice system and the needs of underserved communities. He also has experience in private practice, focusing on family law, business law, and litigation. In 2025, Rony received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a concentration in immigration law at University of St. Thomas School of Law. He is bilingual in English and Spanish. In his free time, Rony enjoys playing tennis and watching sunsets.
