New Program for Spouses of US Citizens:
Pathway to a work permit and permanent residency

Beginning this month, spouses of US citizens may be eligible to apply for employment authorization and permanent residency through a new program launched by President Biden. To qualify for the program, spouses must have been living in the United States for 10 or more years and be married to a US citizen. See https://www.uscis.gov/keepingfamiliestogether for more information about the Keeping Families Together program.

This program makes it possible for some spouses to become permanent residents without having to leave the United States. Learn from local experts about this new program on Wednesday, August 28 at the JBS Field House in Worthington. The presentation will be offered in English at 11:00am and 5:00pm, and in Spanish at 11:30am and 5:30pm. Snacks will be provided! Kivu Immigration Law, Nobles County Law Library, La Voz 104.3, and the City of Worthington are partnering together to host this free event.
